Recently, the new Thor series N-type module products released by Chinese Solar PV One-Stop supplier Sunova Solar have attracted extensive attention and discussion from the industry. As a company focus on providing high performance, high-quality and cost-effective solar products for global customers, Sunova Solar continues to maintain its leading innovation, providing the industry with the best alternative to conventional PERC module.

With the rising of upstream components cost and the demand for modules in global PV installation market, rising module price continues to squeeze investors' profits. The industry is eager to have higher-efficiency products to replace PERC modules which are close to the theoretical conversion hat. N-type module are gradually favored by people.

Existing extensive outdoor experimental data has demonstrated the reliability and excellent power generation performance of N-type panels. Compared with conventional PERC modules, N-type TOPCon has the advantages of high conversion efficiency, high bifacial ratio, low temperature coefficient, excellent and weak light performance, zero LID, low linear attenuation, etc., while N-type modules have advantages of high conversion efficiency; low Power attenuation; low temperature coefficient, stable output power; support for thinning and double-sided power generation; simple process flow; other technologies can be combined, which makes potential for improvement in the future.

Careful calculation shows Sunova Solar’s N-type modules can achieve better full-life-cycle power generation output, and at the same time, with higher conversion efficiency, it can reduce costs of land rental, brackets, cables and installation labor costs, making it possible using lower initial investment and operation and maintenance costs to achieve a significant reduction in LCOE.

As known by many people, N-type is not a new technology, and its natural advantages have been well recognized by power station investors. Many outdoor PV power stations around the world have confirmed that the N-type is superior to the P-type in many aspects and dimensions. No matter what the topography and climatic environment, the power generation gain brought by the N-type is far greater than that of the conventional PERC module, which minimizes the cost of the power station and maximizes the investment return. With the maturity of the production line, the increase in yield, and the decline in the price of production equipment, the replacement of N-type module for PERC module is imminent.

Sunova Solar’s N-type products are under assessment of international standards including IEC 61215, IEC 61730, and are estimated to gain the certificates of them soon.

In 2021, Sunova Solar obtain a domestic insurance policy issued by Ping An of China for its PV module products sold in China, Ping An provides 25-year (30-year for N-type) module performance guarantee insurance, and the internationally renowned reinsurance group Arial Re Lloyd's provides reinsurance services. Obtaining the credit endorsement of the global reinsurance giant fully demonstrates that Sunova Solar is in line with the industry-leading product quality level of Tie1 module manufacturers and opens a fast channel for users to get project financing from international financial institutions.

Sunova Solar is about to participate in Intersolar Brazil with its full line of products. Booth No.: A1. 30. Welcome.
