Topcon Positioning Group announces the launch of Delta Solutions, its new deformation control system.It is a system in which both software and hardware are integrated –Delta Link, Delta Log, Delta Watch, Delta Sat and the MS AXII total station–.Delta Solutions is designed to provide accurate and reliable control measurements, as well as a wide range of reports associated with said data, either for asset protection or for monitoring works in progress.The system uses the MS AXII total station combined with Topcon Delta Watch software designed to monitor, manage and evaluate monitoring data as well as optionally to provide process anomaly alerts.“As stand-alone software, Data Watch provides accurate and reliable data and can generate a wide variety of reports to best suit a project's needs,” says Ian Stilgoe, vice president of portfolio management at Topcon Positioning Group."Data from the total station, GNSS receivers, as well as leveling devices and sensors can be processed and analyzed individually or as a network-adjusted solution."“Topcon Delta Link provides communication to support and properly integrate hardware in autonomous field operations,” he says."Delta Link manages each energy source, optimizing system availability."Communication options include Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and a globally certified integrated cellular modem.Through a secure web portal, Delta Log is designed to offer an intuitive interface to manage observations, types of prisms or targets and measurement programming.“Delta Log provides a simple platform for advanced functionality — Topcon-unique features like array detection are controlled through software,” says Stilgoe. “Delta Log will continue to operate the total station even though communication with the database Delta Watch fails," he said.
